IN OFFICE ONLY: How to Connect to ABPN-Staff  Wifi on Windows 11

You will need to connect to the ABPN-Staff wifi network in order to access network resources when not docked in your office (for instance if you need wifi downstairs)

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access the System Tray
    1. Locate the system tray at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This is where you will find the network icon, which looks like a series of vertical bars (for Wi-Fi) or a computer monitor (for wired connections).
  2. In the pop-up windows that appears click the arrow (>) next to wifi
    1. Locate ABPN-Staff
    2. Check Always Connect, and click Connect
    3. Enter your network credentials to connect.
    4. Verify you are connected by attempting to access the internet.

The ABPN VPN profile is pre-installed, so you do not need to add it manually.

  4. Connect to ABPN VPN
    1. Enter Credentials (if prompted) and click connect
    2. Cerify your connection by accessing a netork resource (like the ABPN-Shared folder)

Tips and Troubleshooting

Disconnecting from the VPN: To disconnect, click on the network icon in the system tray, go to the VPN section, and click on "Disconnect" next to the ABPN VPN profile.
